Noob on board

Hi, I'm Paul and i'm from Poland. I have literally zero experience in woodworking of any kind, but the idea of building my own guitar was rattling in my head for the past ~20 years. I've recently decided i won't wait for another 20 for retirement and try to do something about it right away. Bought some basic tools, got some cheap wood for practice and two really nice fretboards and now i'm planning to mod a cheap guitar first - like wooden pickup rings, wooden knobs, truss rod cover. I would also like to route out the dot inlays and try to fit custom ones, so wish me luck!

Don't expect much activity from me, as i know almost nothing, so i will be mostly a lurker. I'll create a topic to document the progress of the mod project if i find correct place for it

Oh, i certainly won't stop at one probably would need to donate some to charity to make space for next builds

Guitar builds either go in the Flat Top Acoustic or Solidbody Electric folders, depending on what you build, but I'm guessing the latter if it has pickup rings.
