Due to the switchover from the old Forum to the new Forum, the winners of the $100 Holiday-Themed Instrument Challenge kind of got forgotten. Our bad. Six instruments made it to the finish line, and they are all winners! From left to right:
* David Ackley's "Chinese New Year" tenor ukelele
* Louie Atienza's "Independence Day" ergonomic acoustic guitar
* Patrick DeGreve's "Christmas" 3/4 size classical guitar
* Peter Wilcox's "World Mother Tongue Day" tongue drum
* Roger Rosenberger's "Night of the Radishes" 5-string Mexican vihuela
* Warren May's "Day of the Dead" lapsteel guitar

I mentioned the outstanding inlays in this challenge, so here are a few examples:

Patrick DeGreve's "inlay," made of flitter, which is oversized glitter.

Roger Rosenberg's rosette of radishes for his Night of the Radishes vihuela. I guess this is technically intarsia and not inlay because the radishes are wood.

Another intarsia, this one from Louie Atienza's Independence Day guitar, but this one is remarkable for what is NOT there.
