Hi.
I recently saw that Taylor electric guitars have a fuse in the control cavity to prevent accidental death.

In general terms where should such a fuse be in a general guitar circuit?

Thanks,Rob.

I suspect between the wiring ground and the jack grounding lug since the player will only touch strings, bridge, etc that are tied to ground.
Back in the old days a bandmate and I both had non-grounded amps.
I got a good shock touching his guitar while holding mine.

That would have to be a very small value fuse in order to have any meaningful protection....

I seem to recall Taylor used a 5mA fuse.

That sounds reasonable... also preferrably quick blow.... GFIs for personal protection around here are usually 20 mA...
