Fernandes Sustainer Pickup Schematic- created 08-02-2010

Hello! I am helping a friend install a Fernandes Sustainer Pickup 101 (the one with the humbucker driver as opposed to the single-coil). Does anyone have a good schematic they could either post or email to me? It looks like the one in the manual (available on their website under the "support" and the "downloads" page) assumes that the sustainer is being added to an existing circuit. Is this so? It just seems odd that only one wire is going from the switch to the pots, but I am far from an expert. Thanks in advance

It looks complicated but there is nothing unusual about one wire going from the switch to the pots. All of the diagrams on the Fernandes site have master volume and tone controls. If you are using a Les Paul style setup with individual controls for each pickup you might want to contact Fernandes and request a schematic
