I didn't know that LMI sponsors MIMF.
Now, I don't mind ordering more stuff from them.

BTW Is LMI doing that thing where if you click through from this website you get a small commission on sales? If so, I'll try to remember to go through here first if I'm ordering anything.

@Randolph, no, no commission on click through sales (unlike our Amazon/Rockler/Woodcraft links). That being said, if you do order from them you could thank them for supporting us.

And just to clarify, the winner gets both the Rocklite and Richlite fingerboards.

That is good. I really wanted someone (hopefully me!) to compare the two. I saw one post where it was stated very unequivocally that they were NOTHING alike, but I don't think that came from someone who had experience with both. The specs sure make them seem an awful lot alike. Quite honestly, I can't imagine having such similar trademarks and one not having an issue with the other if there is a significant difference in quality and usability. I assume they are both using a similar non-proprietary technique. But only a side to side comparison will tell the tale (and hopefully captured on YouTube for the benefit of the rest of us).

I like Lmii, I have received some very nice wood from them. Always delivered quickly, and very fine quality. I would love to try the new fingerboard materials.
