I've bought lots of different 10mm plastic binding on Amazon, if you need it wider.

Depending on how much chambering you do, you could just use a forstner bit and drill out a bunch of material before gluing the halves together. You would want to pay attention to depth of cut and could use a chisel to remove more material between drilled holes.

That's a good alternative, Eric. Might be able to try that on a future build.
