Poor planning

Post by Steve Sawyer »

Marcy & I just got back from a road-trip to Jacksonville FL. Our route took us right through Athens, OH, home of Stewart MacDonald - both going and coming. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until too late to change our plans as we passed through OH on Saturdays when they're closed.

Probably just as well given my experience visiting one of Lee Valley's brick-and-mortar stores, as I'd be returning home at least a hundred bucks poorer.

Yes , but you could rationalize it by what you saved on shipping!

During a recent trip to Nashville, my plan to spend a leisurely afternoon in Gruhn Guitar's showroom went awry. I arrived only 30 minutes before closing on the day before I flew out, with just enough time for a brisk walk-around. In retrospect, that was likely a very, very, good thing.
